The new you is near to God. The greatest gift of Christ is bringing us near to the Father through his sacrifice. Old you wrestled with hearing God speak, new you is near so just stay a little longer; you’ll hear Him.
Old you struggled with addiction, new you is near to the Father who breaks chains and renews ways of thinking. Old you was a product of your past, new you is near to the Author of Life who can redeem and repurpose anything the enemy threw at you.
Old you hoped for good health, new you is near to the healer. Old you struggled with patience, kindness and joy, new you is near to the Father of grace who sustains you. Old you was plagued by worry and anxiety, new you is seated near the Prince of Peace.
The greatest deception for believers is that we are still far off and unworthy, when in fact the blood of Christ has triumphantly brought us near.
